Shaun Logan, DPT

I see myself as a curious seeker, ordinary mystic in training, living in Eastham, Cape Cod. I moved from Philadelphia in 2019, where I ran a private physical therapy and well-being business called Logan Kinei for five years. My wife and I wanted a lifestyle change, choosing to live closer with the Earth on the Outer Cape. While still working part-time with clients in the well-being spectrum, I wanted to learn more about gardening, plants, soil, and food growing, which helped me understand wildlife, insects, water, and our place on Earth better. I enjoy gardening with my family at our home and worked with Edible Landscapes of Cape Cod as a designer, creating gardens throughout Cape Cod and Eastern Massachusetts. When our second child was born, I shifted my focus to my family, spiritual exploration, and art - while continuing to work with clients part-time. Connecting with Spirit revived my creativity, and I started drawing and painting again for the first time since high school.

Gaining new perspectives about life continues to change my understanding of energy, the Earth, and life. I want to help others understand this as well - through the means appropriate for the individual at the time. Whether it’s physical work through fitness and physical therapy, or meditative practices, or gardening, or grounding or walking through nature while doing mindful practices. My own journey has included all of these and they are all wonderful tools to use at the appropriate moments. Collectively these tools can be used to change us in a way that we become more whole — in a way that we understand that we are only part of the sum and in this we find peace, beauty, health, and joy.

I prefer not to subscribe to one type of practice because it feels limiting to me. I see beauty in many methods so I take those aspects that speak to me and work with them but I do not label myself as anything - other than curious.

I am conveying this because I want to be as inclusive as possible. I have often felt like an outsider because I don’t identify with any particular group or practice, so I want to open myself to everything.

I am currently enrolled in the Spiritual Companion Training Program through the Spiritual Life Center to deepen my life knowledge and experience while obtaining a certification and being a spiritual companion/director. From which, I will graduate with a certificate in April 2026.

I also recently completed a 16 week intrinsic health coaching course through The Journey of Intrinsic Health.

My mystical/spiritual practices are mostly within Bhakti Yoga, karma Yoga, Sufism, Christianity, Interfaith/interspiritual. Teachers I have been most drawn to as of late are Ram Dass, Mirabai Starr, Richard Rohr, Zach Bush, Radhanath Swami, Kabir Helminski, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, Rupert Spira, Findhorn, the Earth, the Mystery.

Through all of what I have read, listened to, watched, experienced — this is what it is all about:

Being present with an open heart at all moments.

Movement With is a natural progression of my own knowing in life. The movement does not belong to anyone - not me, not you.

We move together. We help each other.

We move with energy, with spirit, with love, with oneness.

My speciality is meeting people where they are right now and helping them get to where they can be — whether it’s physical movement, spiritual movement, creative movement, or movement with the Earth.

We have the choice to use our life and all of the material things in this world in many ways. My life is about deepening my understanding and awareness of myself as part of the whole - the world spirit, the universal spirit - the energy that is life itself and is the source that connects us with everything else. It is love.

Through this individual healing, joy, and peace come. Through this comes collective healing, joy, and peace.

Degrees and Licensure

B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State in ‘07

Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University in ‘10

Physical therapy license in Massachusetts

My background is working with athletes from children to professionals to older adults. I then started Movement by Logan, which later became Logan Kinei, in 2014 as a private pay physical therapy business in Philadelphia which successfully operated until I decided to end it in 2019. I developed and ran corporate pilot programs with Comcast, where I learned a lot about what I don’t want to do and what I do believe in. I came back to calling it Movement by Logan because it felt right, but it’s not really “by” me so I changed it to Movement With. While movement is how I approach physical therapy, Movement With leaves it all open to be bigger than what can be described by words.
